[Solved] Google has flagged 'IDM integration' as malicious

Today IDM was not capturing the download link so I checked my extensions in chrome and saw that IDM integration was missing, so I tried to install it again but chrome came up with a error "Google has flagged 'IDM integration as malicious and instillation has been prevented". So as always DMtricks.in is here to give you solution for this.

Just follow below mentioned step carefully and install IDM integration again.

How install IDM Integration extension in Google Chrome

1. Click on Menu > Settings. 
   
2. Scroll down and click on "Show Advanced Settings". Then find the "privacy" and uncheck "Enable phishing and malware protection".
3. 
4. Now restart  the Google Chrome.
5. Now  go to Internet Download Manager installation directory C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager. 
6. Now find the file "IDMGCExt.crx". 
7. Now open the Google Chrome and go to extensions page. 
8. Now drag and drop the IDMGCExt.crx into Extensions page.
9. Complete the installation.
10. Now Enjoy!!!
